Error Message

When attempting to configure the Data Store, there is an error registering the Data Store with the error message:

 "Attempt to Configure Data Store Failed. Caused by null"

Cause

This issue may be encountered when a Data Store that has been previously registered must be re-registered.

Solution or Workaround

Note:
It is strongly recommended to backup your data before proceeding.

Check the arcgisdatastore/etc folder. If there is a relational-config.json or tilecache-config.json file:

  • Stop the Data Store service.
  • Rename the .json files.
  • Restart the Data Store service.
  • Attempt to configure the Data Store again.
